Digital Photography
"Tell a story using pictures" was the final assignment for this subject. I paired up with my photography buddy and ventured into the busy streets in KL. The theme is "Street Performer(s)", mostly referring to people that come to life when the sun goes down. We know just where to find them; and they know how to approach us as well! Most of them are friendly, fun and highly amusing.
Being a street performer is a challenging job as they have to deal with people, place, and even the weather. Yet Confucius said before, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Thanks to the inner passion street performers possesed - as they simply add more colors and fun to the society!
Digital Photography/Imaging
From aperture to shutter speed to long exposure to picture composition to color tone and view point to special effect, I am proud to say that I've learn a lot on photography. A good photograph can do the talking alone, as a picture speaks a thousand words.
As I explored from outdoor shooting to indoor studio shooting with props and models, my faithful Canon D1100 accompanied me through capturing precious moments that would last a lifetime.
Digital Audio and Video
A DSLR can do lots of things: capture photos, serve as an accessory, (make a hole in your pocket, haha), and record videos too! This is a group assignment whereby 5 people with DSLRs were to come together and produce a music video based on any Malaysian artist's song.
Bitter Heart by Zee Avi was chosen as we developed the story line into bitter love, which also brought out the bitter fact that love can never be explained.

Animation (3Ds Max)
1. This was my first time ever using 3Ds Max to develop an animation. The inspiration of using two mugs for my animation hits me when I was having my coffee one morning. I applied stretch on the “DC” fonts that looked exactly like the mug’s handles.
2. "My magical breakfast" is an inspiration from Disney’s cartoons. Almost everything in the animation is magical – there’s a magic wand, and things can fly and dance to create anticipation and appeal to the audience; and at the same time promoting the cereal.
Advanced Animation (Ae)
1. First video is my Motion Graphic Lab Exercise. Name of the song is Big Me by Foo Fighters, from their album Greatest Hits (2009). Explored on various effect and also text.
2. Second one would be my Rotoscoping Lab Exercise, self-filmed and completed with an inspirational message: "If you can dream it, you can do it." - Walt Disney.
